This course explains and looks at examples of upselling, which is a sales technique aimed at persuading customers to purchase a more expensive, upgraded or premium version of the chosen item or other add-ons for the purpose of making a larger sale.

The OCNNI Level 1 Customer Service is part of the Award in Vocational Skills designed to provide learners with an introduction to skills and knowledge required for working in a range of sector areas including, Catering, hospitality, customer service skills.

Learners for the Award must complete a total of 6 credits from a range including; Skills in Customer Service, Communication Skills for the Individual, Oral Presentation Skills in Practice, Improving Assertiveness

Retail Business

The OCN NI Level 1 Award in Retail Business for learners who wish to achieve basic skills and knowledge required for working in a range of retail businesses.

In order to achieve the qualification, the learner is required to complete any 12 credits from units; Individual and Teamwork Skills for a Retail Business Understanding Retail Businesses Problem Solving within a Retail Business

Vocational Skills - Introduction to Hospitality Industry

The OCNNI Level 1 Hospitality is part of the Award in Vocational Skills designed to provide learners with an introduction to skills and knowledge required for working in a range of sector areas including, Catering, hospitality, customer service skills.

Learners for the Award must complete a total of 6 credits from a range including; Reception Duties in the Hospitality Industry, Customer Service for the Hospitality Industry

Food Safety in Catering

Food safety laws, types of contamination and the associated risks, personal hygiene and safe food handling practices.
