Risk Assessment

Course covers how to protect the health, safety and welfare of employees and other people who might be affected by their business. This includes providing sufficient information, instruction and training to employees to allow them to work in a way that does not put themselves or others at risk.

Stress Awareness

Content includes: Defining stress, effects of stress on performance, stress reduction, the causes of stress, strategies for managing stress, stress and the law.

Managing Conflict

What is workplace conflict? cultural differences, breakdown in communication, patterns of behaviour, physical conflict warning and danger zones, impact factors, responses to conflict, different ego types, the behavioural cycle, conflict with customers, the HEAT technique, distance zones.

COVID-19, Return to Work Toolkit

This COVID-19 Return to Work 3-hour online programme, will comprehensive cover those ever more important workplace considerations following our gradual return to work including health and safety, compliance, risk assessment and social distancing.

Infection Control and Risk assessment

Particularly at present, infection prevention and control is incredibly important as the risk of spreading infections is ever present. It is important that everyone knows the risks, how to stay safe and how to keep themselves and everyone around them healthy.

This three-hour online course, raises awareness of these issues by focussing on the three core areas of Infection, the chain of infections and hygiene.

Mindfulness

This programme offers a safe and accessible introduction to this subject including some theory about mindfulness as well as some practical exercises including meditation, gentle movement, awareness of sensations, emotions and thoughts.

Mindfulness is a specialised skill in mental awareness, attention, and acceptance that is associated with numerous health benefits. Mindfulness training allows practitioners to develop a deeper understanding of the mind, and a more accepting and compassionate relationship to their internal and external experiences. It involves guided exercises, including meditation, to help individuals become aware of automatic patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, learning to respond in more effective ways.

COSHH

This qualification is designed for those who use substances hazardous to health at work. It introduces candidates to substances, the risks and controls available, and outlines what to expect from a control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) assessment.

Working at Height

Those who undertake the Working at Height e-Learning course will learn how to ensure their own safety in various situations. The course will also help employers satisfy the Working at Height Regulations 2005 (amended 2007).

Trips, Slips and Falls

The Slips, Trips and Falls e-Learning course will alert staff to the dangers of slip and trip accidents and raise awareness to dangerous everyday hazards that can be avoided to create a safer and productive workplace.

Legionella Awareness

The Legionella Awareness e-Learning course has been designed to provide an introduction to Legionella (or Legionnaires’ disease).

Asbestos Awareness

What is asbestos, asbestos-related death, working with asbestos, where it can be found, health implications of asbestos exposure, preventing accidental asbestos exposure.
