The OCN NI qualifications in Vocational Skills at Entry Level 3 and Level 1 are designed to provide learners with an introduction to skills and knowledge required for working in a range of sector areas including Building and Construction, Catering, Communication Technology and Office Skills, Core Skills, Creative Arts, Crafts and Performance, Horticulture, Salon Skills for Hair and Beauty, Social Care and Early Years, Sport and Leisure and Vehicle Care and Maintenance.

The qualifications give learners an opportunity to gain valuable generic skills for work and also enable them to progress to OCN NI’s higher level qualifications in a range of vocational skills. The qualifications allow learners to sample basic skills in a range of vocational areas. Learners also can enhance their core skills in areas such as career preparation, presentation skills, teamwork and health and safety.

OCN NI Level 1 Award in Vocational Skills In order to achieve the qualification learners must complete a total of 6 credits.
