Award in Vocational Skills - Citizenship

OCN Level 1 Award Vocational Skills – Active Citizenship in Community Learning Outcoming 1. Understand the social diversity of citizens in own community. 2. Recognise the role of active participation in own community Assessment 1.1. Define what is meant by social diversity. 1.2. Outline the social diversity of citizens in own community. 2.1. OCN NI Award in Community Development

The OCN NI Level 1 award in Community Development provides learners with knowledge in community development values and processes, community group understanding and understanding of diversity and injustice issues. These qualifications are mapped to the new Community Development National Occupational Standards (NOS).

In order to achieve the Level 1 Award learners must complete the one mandatory unit for a total of 6 credits. Community Development Practice
